I don’t believe in autorouting anymore but this is cool

I’ve found that freerouting is good for providing me with ideas. I never use its routes verbatim, but sometimes the general layout is a good starting point.

To be honnest, I don’t even know how I could do without such a tool. Manual routing can be done for small design but for large scale and complex circuits using such tool is not a waste of time. The same trend have been observed in CAD tool for circuit synthesis and is now accepted by founder for VLSI circuits and FPGA… Modern tools can achieve high qulaity result with just a little bit of hand tuning.
