First impressions on mBuino

@ mhectorgato - Easy! Isn’t it? ;D

BTW I’ve used to rename downloaded binary to firmware.bin before dropping it on the drive. Apparently deleting old firmware.bin and dropping new one as is (without renaming) works just fine.

Very simple! But then again, I was just playing with the on board lights. This is what FEZ used to be …

But I digress … I tried to rename the default .bin and download the new one, but there was not enough space. I guess we’re just spoiled with the NETMF boards. So I just deleted the old .bin and saved the new one right from the Save As dialog.

I’ll see how FEZ it is if/when I get to more complicated tasks. But I definitely see that if any project would get complicated, breakpoints would be sorely missed!

@ GHI is there a chance you can share eagle files for mBuino earlier?

Want to OSHPark a shield for it.

@ Architect - I will post it tonight and share the link.

@ Gary - Awesome! Thanks!

Here is the link until we put it up on the mbed site, http://www.outrageouscircuits.com/downloads/mbuino/eagle/mbuino_eagle.zip

We have a few more tweak to page to the pages and then it will be live, as of today it is part of the mbed SDK!

Gary – that link is giving a 404

@ mhectorgato - Sorry for the confusion, you would think that I would “copy and paste” instead of typing it out! please dont tell Gus, its Monday morning and I have enough to deal with.

@ Jay Jay - Thank you sir.

@ andre.m - lol…who would of thought after all these years that capital letters still matter. 8)

@ Gary - Thanks for the files!

@ Architect - your welcome, they are also on the platform page when it becomes live (crossing fingers).

@ Gary - Yeah, I figured from Gus’s comment that you are still doing something with the page(s). :open_mouth:

@ Architect - We are pretty much done, just waiting for them to be live, there might be a few tweaks here and there though

It is live!!!

There is not a default project type for the mBuino with the online compiler when you create a project?

@ Mike - There should be a default project now.

Wait…what is “Medusa Icon”? :open_mouth:

And Roulette?

I can only assume that these are TBD toys for OutrageousCircuits.com?

Gonna have to start saving my allowance, I guess. ;D

Mike,

You need to add it to compiler from platform page. There is a button. After that you should be able to select it inside the compiler.
