File Creation Date

We use the real-time clock calendar function provided by Alfat. Until just recently it
has worked properly for allowing us to provide time and date stamps to the data
log files that are created. However, when we remove the USB flash drive to copy its
contents to a PC, the creation dates shown by MAC/PC are always Dec 31, 1979,
instead of the actual creation date.

  • Make sure that RTC crystal installed.
  • Make sure “T B” is called.
  • Make sure set date and time is called

I don’t think RTC is running in your case.
