FEZ Panda II independend boot

Gentlemen

I create, build and test a small application on my Panda II, it works fine on my Windows 8 PC with VS 2012 in the Debug Mode.

If I stop the Debug Mode in VS, the application doesn’t worky anymore, a reset via reset button, disconnect the USB cable and reconnet or connect to a external power supply, nothing helps.

Also I tried to deploy the “Release”-Version of my application, it was not possible, an error during the deployment comes up.

I remember, I had the same issue with a FEZ Cerbuino Bee, but after some minutes on a external power supply, the FEZ Cerbuino Bee starts to work.

Did I some wrong configurations in VS ?

There is a thread where I tested this, and its a consequence of the combination of new Windows drivers, that aren’t behaving with the deprecated hardware. You can safely ignore this, and power the device externally and its fine. Or open mfdeploy and connect and you’ll also be fine
