This batteries are bigger than AA size and don’t fit in your current battery holder
you never answered the power output question when talking about your power supply that you use. Please tell us it’s rated voltage and current capacity. That will help you understand the requirements you will need to meet to supply power for your equipment. It would also be better if you used a multimeter to measure the voltages and the current consumption you actually need. But remember, motors take a lot of current so the size of the battery will also dictate how long you can be autonomous for, before your batteries can no longer deliver the required power.
Hello ,
this are the data from my AC/DC Adapter that is working perfectly !
Input 230V -/50-60HZ/ 130ma
Output 12V == 1A
So, assuming your battery holder is for AA batteries, you will only get approx 6V (4 * 1.5V). You will need a second battery holder and wire it in series with your original in order to get up to 12 V.
i want to buy this Akku.-Pack , can anyone tell me how i can connect it , because it have a Tamiya Plug, although , how
i can recharge this akku pack ?
Thank your for your help Guys !
You could cut the wires off the battery pack and throw away the existing connector, and then wire it up to some other connector or similar? Or you could buy the opposite Tamiya plug and connect wires to it. There are many options.
The simplest way to charge a Tamiya pack is to buy one of their chargers. http://www.ebay.de/itm/271631756625?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D271631756625%26_rdc%3D1 But these batteries are “standard” NiMH, so you could use any NiMH charger that had a configuration for a 9.6v (8 cell) pack.
NiMH is a standard battery chemistry that has been around for a long time. There are newer chemistries that don’t have some of the memory/charge limitations that NiMH have, that most of the RC world have moved on to. For example, for a few Euro more, http://www.ebay.de/itm/FLOUREON-2200mAh-11-1V-3S-8C-LiPo-Akku-RC-Helicopter-Flugzeug-Airplane-Auto-/272072809698?hash=item3f58cd9ce2 is a pack that would potentially be a choice with more flexibility and likely to give better life. (I have no idea what that brand is like. That store also doesn’t seem to have Lipo chargers so you’d need to find one of those yourself. And buy charging fireproof sack at the same time)
i bought now this battery
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Power-RC-Akku-Pack-9-6V-1800mAh-NiMH-AA-4-2-Tamiya-Stecker-fur-Toys-RC-Modelle-/291512975566?hash=item43df8700ce:g:ghQAAOSwT6pVoOWJ
now i need a Adapter because i dont want to cut the wires of the battery.
Is this Adapter ok to cut the wires ?
or is this better ?
Thank you Guys
Personally I’d choose the last one, as it has banana plugs that are easy to use in connecting to other things, but if you’re going to cut the cable, either will do, just make sure they’re for the same size plug.
