It works when you install as pi, but seemingly not as root. Even when I reconnect as root, the SDK is not found.
seems when you use ‘root’, the tool (and extension) will think it is Endpoint, and they ignore some extra commands. You may need pi as user for now.
We will look on it soon.

Finally, a successful test of Endpoint development was performed on the PI3. I’m almost scared to go and do this for the beagle bone black now.
Thank you, from your test result we know RPI2,3,4,5 work 
So .net was able to be installed on pocket beagle however the application failed to run. Also running “dotnet --version” on the device resulted in Segmentation Fault.

Something wrong with SDCard. You may need different SDcard and burn the image again.
