Hi there i have been developing my application on a g400d and now require the ability to encrypt/decrypt data. Before i start implementing will this be a feature available in the tinyclr framework at some point?
Most likely not, given the legal ramifactions of such. Encryption is a weapon and GHI does not export weapons.
EDIT: My bad, Cryptographic technologies is a munition, not a weapond.
TLS is planned to be added to tinyclr, which include many options. To can also easily implement simple algorithms like XTEA yourself.
The question is why are you not using the newer models on your design instead of G400D?
Disagree that encryption is a weapon but I’ll leave that opinion with yourself.
