EMX - Turn LCD On/Off?

Hi all!

I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t seem to locate a definitive answer. A requirement for my application is that it should turn the LCD off after a period of inactivity, and then turn it back on when the screen is touched.

Any help/advice/links are appreciated!

You could set a white/black screen and power off the backlight until the touch is pressed. (Is this on FEZ Cobra?)

Yes sorry it is a FEZ Cobra. Either turning the whole LCD off or the backlight would be sufficient I think.

FEZ Cobra does not have an I/O pin assigned for the LCD backlight so this would need some hardware tweaks.

There is backlight shutdown pin on the LCD panel, you need to wire it to any free IO on cobra mainboard.
