I feel like I am missing something. I have been sending raw commands to all of my DueLink modules because I have never been able to get the driver stuff, the DueLink local code stuff, working correctly. What am I doing wrong?
More info please… how are you sending commands? I2C? Using what platforms? What language? What firmware?
Currently using Firmware .81. Using Visual Studio 2026 on a Windows 11 machine. Using C#
So I am not able to send the ‘friendly’ commands like are in the samples. Below would be what I do to read the temp on the An Sensor.
duelink.Engine.Select(1);
double tempOutput = duelink.Analog.VoltRead(1);
Console.WriteLine($"Raw Read: {tempOutput.ToString()} ");
Thread.Sleep(1500);
I am not using the actual GetTemperature command.
To add to this. Now when I use the loader.duelink.com to Erase a device it gets stuck at 80% and never completes.
Step by step, what module do you have?
These are 2 separate issues. If you can’t load the firmware then nothing would work. But then I thought you said you can use it but not using code. Do you mean from console? or from teraterm?
Now for the update, have you tried a different module? different computer? do you have a module with loader button? you may need to install the USB driver as noted on the loader page did you do that? What do you see under device manager.
Sorry about all the questions but we need to know more so we can help better please.
I have a couple of stamps, I was using a USB hook but it won’t connect any longer.
No more than 1 module connected for the testing.
Modules TempAn, Temp and humidity sensor, Stepper 1, Stepper 3, Motomax and I have a few other modules. But really this problem of connecting to the “driver” code cross all of them. Pick one and I will use that one for testing.
You are correct, they are 2 separate issues. Let me create a different post for this issue.
