DS18B20 - Maximum distance from Panda II

At the moment, this project concept is just “in my head” so I may not have thought out everything yet.

I have a Panda II and plan to collect data from some DS18B20 sensors, maybe 10 total. I’ll probably use CAT6 wiring to connect the sensors to the Panda II, largely because the wiring is already installed. In my head, there may be 20 feet between the two (along the wire).

What is the maximum distance I can have between the sensor and the Panda II ?
Is this distance too far ?
Can I go farther ?
Is there a calculation I can perform to figure this out ?

My longest wire is ~24 feet, and it works great (even at 3.3V). That’s over standard telephone extension cable.
