Hello all,
I was wondering :
Are the tft screens of those 3 shields the same/ compatible between them?
i.e if a grab the screen of TE35 shield, can I use it for replace the screen of an old and out of stock FEZ-TFT EXP ?
From what I can see from the schematics FEZ-TFT EXP and T35 are pin to pin compatible…for TE35 I don’t have the shematics, neither what screen is used on this shield?

I understand that the shields are not compatible beetween them, but I am curious about the bulk screens of FEZ-TFT EXP and T35 : according to the schematics, connector X2 and signal order are the same…
So I do not see why those two compatble bulk tft should not be compatible together?
electrically bakcklight, RGB hsync and vsync clock and enable should be correctly wired,
mechanically, the 60 pins connectors and ribbon seems to be the same,
maybe on the software, lcd driver has to be tuned a bit (clock frequency, porchs…)?

I try to build quickly 5 protoypes based on custom EMX module + palmtech bulk screen used on FEZ-TFT EXP (without the shield board itself).
But we have only one prototype working and unfortunately, it is out of stock, then we try to purchase T35 to grab bulk screens from them ! It is a short term solution, then if we need to build larger amounts , we will purchase directly bulk screens from palmtech! (but it will be longer, there is a lot of delay)

Now I understand. The only one we have in stock today is TE35 and it has a different pinout.

Okay, TE35 has different pinout. But can you confirm that, as I expect, FEZ-TFT EXP and T35 screens are compatible?
If yes it will help us on short time because local GHI vendors have some of it!

Extra question : what is the screen on TE35? either one from palmtech ? Could we use it with EMX module if we rewire the RGB clock hsync vsync clock signals + adapt backlight?

Yes they are compatible.

TE35 uses a different vendor.
