What company could I send in my designs to (enclosure + PCB + pinouts) and have them fabricate and send me a finished(semi) product?
Well you could contact Steve Presley, as he just started a business for that
He’s on the forum so might read this message. Don’t know if he’s doing hardware though.
How many units do you want?
BTW: I can create prototype hardware but I see on the map that you’re out of my working area.
For PCB manufacturing, there are lots of options, such as Seeed’s Fusion service, or OSHPark, or BatchPCB. For enclosure cutting, there is our own Steve Presley, or Ponoko, or others. GHI has a laser, if your volume was sufficient to interest them. As for assembly of PCBs and placement into enclosures, unless you want a LOT of units (hundreds of thousands), nothing is going to be very economical. Gold Phoenix does it (and the board manufacturing as well) but I have no clue what it would cost. There is also Bittele Electronics that will do this sort of thing.
There are many options. For pcb and assembly I would use one company and different for enclosure. (haven’t met a provider doing both pcb and eclosure)
For PCB start with small quantaties I would use:
oshpark.com is definitely the way to go for prototype sized batches of PCBs.
wow, thanks for the support guys, I just bought my first GHI kit I will tell you how everything works out.
