I was going to ask - have you tested it as an RPM detector, hypothetically on something faster than a cerbot wheel? And what about in reverse, with an open aperture in a rotating disk (a-la 5.25" floppy disk hole)
@ Brett - yeah, i tested it with a cordless drill spinning a disk with a slot cut into it…
seems i deleted the video…but worked quite well…
