We did see some issues in the past. But now, on latest firmware, I cannot reproduce the issue at all. If you have a code that generates it every time, please post it.
Also, make sure have the latest NETMF SDK installed (V4.1 QFE1)
I think it’s more dependent on the development environment.
What are the specs of the computers you guys are attempting to deploy on?
We have many kinds, Win7, Vista, 32 and 64 bit.
Are able to get the problem on a PC running our latest firmware and NETMF QFE1?
I mean, what are the hardware specs. I am using all latest NETMF development resources.
I am being plagued by an issue similar to this on 2 of my development computers. One of my other machines never experiences it, however. I am using a FEZ Cobra.
The two in trouble are high end machines with quad core processors and Windows 7 x64 edition
The one that always works and never has problems is an older 2.1 ghz c2d laptop running Windows 7 x32
Is there an update on this issue?
To clarify, my problem is that VS 2010 hangs on “Preparing to deploy assemblies to the device” despite attempts to reset or use a different USB port. The only way to fix it is to restart. From there I can get anywhere between 5 to 20 good deploys before the issue again is present.
