I believe I read somewhere that the Cobra II can’t power the CP7 via USB.
But I can’t find the resource. I’m not even sure where that sort of info might be printed.
Can anyone point me to how I would figure that out?

If you check the product page for the CP7, you will see that it requires 750mA of power just for it. USB can supply at most 500mA. So, using an external power supply is definitely a requirement with the CP7 on any mainboard.
This display needs plenty of power. You can usea powered hub or use a power Pack or use the power extender module.
Knew I saw it somewhere.
Just for my own knowledge…what would have happened? Just a brownout or would have I burned something?
