Cerberus Gyro Module Error

Hi Team,

I wonder if you can point me in the right direction. I am wanting to use my new Gyro.

Using my Cerberus, I plug in to socket 1 and with no code, I get:
"An unhandled exception of type ‘System.ApplicationException’ occurred in Gadgeteer.dll

Additional information: SoftwareI2C: Exception writing to device at address 29 - perhaps device is not responding or not plugged in."
Have I got a buggered Gyro Module?

Chris

P.S: It is a Seeed Gyro bought from GHI Store.

Where’d you get your driver? What version?

Do you have something also plugged into socket #2?

Hi Ian,

Thanks for responding! After some messing around I got it working. Firmware updated to 4.3.

However, I have another problem now. After only a few minutes my Raptor becomes unresponsive?

I am guessing a memory leak?

I have tried a few sockets, 2, 4, 6, 12.

Any suggestions?

Chris
