Cerb40 II store data in FLASH when power off

I need a counter, this counter need keep the number even the power off.
After the power on , the counter keeps count.

In my design, no SD card, so can I do this using on board FLASH?
Any example ?

@ Tzu Hsuan - As an alternative, if your want extra security against flash erasures, you can store it in sRam : http://www.ghielectronics.com/community/codeshare/entry/725

For this to work, VBAT should be provided and RTC initialized.
