Cerb40 II & 3.3v Regulator

I found an article about the Cerb40 saying that it needed a 3.3v regulator added onto it, is that still necessary with the Cerb40 II?

The regulator is already soldered on it.

It doesn’t say anything about Cerb40 II, but there is more information about the Cerb40 than the Cerb40 II so I’ve been finding “old” information.
