search for "CAN"
click on “Include discontinued modules” on top of the search page (just below the “Search results for …” Text.

Hi all,
I have an old project running on the CANxtra module (so 4.1).
Now I get a “MMP : error MMP0000: CLR_E_OUT_OF_MEMORY” during build.

I found others having problems on that and it seems in 4.2 it’s solved by the fix for this issue:

ISSUE 310: Give MetaDataProcessor more memory to compile.

As I’m bound to 4.1 on the CANxtra, I wonder if I can workaround to fix the issue on 4.1.

Any ideas are welcome!

Last time I had similar issue was because my code file was too large. I had to split it into multiple classes/files. There were other causes for similar errors as well.

What has changed in your project since the last successful build?

I’m searching the schematics and the brochure for the CANxtra box.
The links on “https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/267” only throw an error

Can anybody send them to me? Or post a working link?

If you do a search of the catalog and include disconitued items you will find what you are after.

that’s how I came to the page “https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/267”.
But the links to the schematics and the brochure seem to be dead.
I just get an error “*** ASSERT *** The page you’re looking for doesn’t exist.”.
And also in the web I was not able to find them anywhere…

Is there any particular reason you want the schematics ? There’s not much relevance these days for these old devices, unless you’re resurrecting one and need the actual pinouts?

Hi Brett,

In fact, I want to replace one of those devices from my home electronic by a newer one (maybe a Cobra).
But I would like to keep the CANxtra box for smaller projects, as sometimes it’s nice to have a build-in display and CAN Transceiver and running on 12V directly… so, I would like to keep the design files.
I never downloaded the schematics or brochure… I thought I would always be able get them from the web

…and I would need to measure out the connected wires now to upgrade to a new board… so, reading it from the brochure would be much easier
