Can I use the RS232 Gadegeteer module even as virtually existing?

Hi All,

I need to communicate between several board using RS485, that I do using a MAX3483 chip on each board.

It seems that GTI.Serial is available in the RS232 module, but not out of it… Maybe am I wrong yet ?

Then, if it is the case, I would like to put the RS232 module on my gadgeteer designer, just to play virtually with it however I do not have the module, but my TX/RX pins connected to a MAX3483 chip.

Can it work like this, or can I instanciate the GTI.Serial in a module build from scrash…
