Can HD44780 module display "°"

Hi,

can the HD44780 module from GHI (the one that include the display) display the “°”??? i can see a “-” instead of a “°”.

HD44780’s can display anything - you may just have to check the character set (and force one in if it’s not there). A little bit of Binging shows me you want 0b11011111 as the best representation of what you want.

I don’t know how to set the binary value you told me…

it’s just another character… try putting that value in a byte and sending it? Sorry, don’t have it to test for you.
