BSOD on Spider

We also had some BSOD with WinUSB with VS2010 and W8/64.
Two times when deploying with VS2010.
After that the G120 Debug USB device was not recogniced by Windows anymore (Unknown device).
The G120 needed to be reflashed with FW then.

The same computer has the ‘Can not start Hardware’ problem when booting G120 in Bootloader mode.

@ Gus - Seriously is this being worked? Is there any feedback I can give?

@ Cowboy - maybe post full details about your setup to Microsoft, at codeplex

@ Gus - So the USB driver is not yours?

All NETMF/gadgeteer devices share the same driver, which is done my microsoft…and also the driver use WinUSB, which is also done by microsoft.

One of the most important goals of WinUSB is that it is done so it will never cause BSoD as it runs in user mode not kernel mode, but what you are seeing is exactly the opposite. I am not sure how this can happened or how it can be solved but Microsoft is the expert here.

@ Gus - Thanks for explaining. I will get with them.

@ Gus - Well I have found if I don’t use the network I don’t get a BSOD.

wifi or ethernet?

@ Gus - ethernet
