I have the problem, that my BrainPad is not shown in the Device Manager and also not in Visual Studio. Programming with MakeCode works fine, but I can´t use VS or Arduino, because it doesn´t get recognized as a device. I think the drivers are not correctly installed, because it´s listed under Other Devices (Screenshot).
I am guessing you did not load TinyCLR on your BrainPad. Please see this https://docs.brainpad.com/go-beyond/system-setup.html

The Basics and the programming with MakeCode did work. But It doesnt communicate with VS
We have a step-by-step video on this too. Maybe one of the steps was missed?
