Would it be possible to support previous versions in visual studio so we can select the target for older models. Would save the hassle of having a dedicated VM/machine to support previous devices and would be a nice touch in visual studio when switching between devices. Not looking for hardware support or updates to images just support in VS for projects.

Older version may work but we can’t guarantee it. But I think you can have both installed on the same machine without the need for a VM
The VS extension automatically updates and there for targets the latest build/references. the only other option i have is to install two VS and add the appropriate extension to the specific install, not ideal.
