Is there a plan to offer a sleep option for the wifi module? I believe the winc1500 has some calls that will let you put the module to sleep, but they’re not exposed in the atwinc library. I can disable the network controller, but it would be nice to put the module to sleep.
is driving the enable pin to low better then sleep? is it lower consumption?
Disable/Enable network like 99% restart the network, not pause /resume so sleep doesn’t really help.
Driving the enable low would work too. I have that in hardware. I just want to be able to turn it off if I’m not using it. Sleeping is great, but off is off.
