How do you get the CAN DW module into the toolbox?

The CAN DW module is supported in the 4.2 Beta. You can still develop for 4.1 with the Beta.

When a module driver is installed it makes itself available in the VS toolbox.

A lot of the new module drivers were only included in the 4.2 Beta.

CAN DW source code has 4.1 driver.

You can get it from codeplex, rebuild (release build), install and it should appear in the toolbox.

Guys, the latest SDK is for 4.2 but it includes updated to 4.1 as well when it comes to drivers. No need for source code compilation or anything special.
