4.1 and 4.2 Modules

Hi,

I have just installed the software as described here: http://www.ghielectronics.com/support/dotnet-micro-framework - all the way to step 4.

I’ve got a FEZ Spider Started Kit. When I open the Microsoft Visual C# Express and start a new project on 4.1, then I can only use the Seeed modules. When start a new project on 4.2, then I can only use the GHI modules.

What am I doing wrong - how do I access both Seed and GHI modules in the same project?

Seeed has not provided drivers for 4.2. Install step 4 as well and you should be able to use 4.1 drivers.

Another option is to get source code for Seeed’s drivers from codeplex and rebuild it for 4.2.

I just checked it and the seeed drivers are there, for 4.1 and 4.2.

Are you sure you have the latest SDK?

the seeed drivers for 4.2 are definetly part of the sdk that was released here in august 24th 2012 RC2 - http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/topic?id=8498 (i`m running this one)

the latest SDK for 4.2 released 24th oct 2012 RC3 can be found here http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/topic?id=9388 (i not got round to installing this one yet to be honest )

Thanks all - I still could not get it working. So I uninstalled everything including MVS, and re-installed the whole lot. Now it is fine.

Before I just uninstalled 4.1 and then re-installed 4.2 + 4.1 according to the steps.
