What is the best way to get TTL 0-5V output?

What is the best way to get TTL 0-5V output? I have to communicate with a motor controller that wants TTL 0-5V, but from reading Fez Spider information, I can only get 0-3.3V.
Thanks,
Mario

Probably the answer is that “you don’t need any”. Because your 5V TTL logic will consider that any voltage over 2.2v is a “1” level, so your 3.3v from the FEZ will just work fine !

And if you still need it you can use a level shifter, for example CD4050.

I was not too sure. I’ll try the connection and post back.
Thank you.

Usualy work without and level shifter if will not work you can also try small breakout board like this:
