Vs2012

I’ve been running the betas and now RC0 of VS2012 at work for a couple of months now and have been very pleased with some of the new features that have been added. I have 4.1 and the GHI packages installed but have noticed the NETMF project templates are not shown when creating a new project. Is there a simple way to include these project types in 2012?

Thanks,
Bob

Think you need to wait for .net 4.3

Probably nobody is ready to look at it until VS2012 goes to production.

I think there’s another thread here somewhere where Devhammer said he’s been using VS2012 and gave some tips for setting it up.

@ ianlee74 - really? Could have sworn I read that MS was waiting for 4.3 to support micro in 2012…but I’m probably spouting rubbish like usual

Nope. I’m using VS2010 and VS2012 side-by-side, but only VS2010 currently supports NETMF/Gadgeteer, to my knowledge.

I think what you’re recalling is the thread where someone was having issues with errors in VS2010, having installed it after 2012, and I encouraged them to install VS2010 first, then VS2012…

Ah. I thought you were talking about an order for getting 2012 working. I admit I wasn’t paying very close attention though since I don’t have 2012 installed yet.
