http://www.amazon.com/Geeetech-J-Link-JLink-Emulator-Debugger-J-Link/dp/B00S7ZQU6S

Yes $18.00 + $3.00 shipping from China

Took awhile to get here but it finally arrived.

Now all I have to do is learn how to use it AND learn Chinese so I can read the PDF’s on to CD that came with it.

@ willgeorge - What is it that was bought, the Segger J-link or the little board on the connector? The Segger J-link education model is only about $35 i think from the last time i looked.

I just looked, it is 49.98 euros on the real Segger site… J-Link EDU Debug Probe oops, my bad :-[

How cheap can it be?..

I wonder if they actually work…

@ Aron -

Segger J-link or the little board on the connector?

It came with both.

Not for commercial use (Just a new toy for me)

It works, until the driver software discovers its an illegal copy

Be careful when upgrading drivers, i had one of those el chepo Chinese debuggers, worked well for 4 months and then stopped responding all together. Later i found out an update which came down to support more micros had detected that its not an original one and disabled all its functionality.

Gave up and bought an original Segger, worth the investment…

@ Tanu -

I should have mentioned that I do have a ‘LEGAL’ SEGGER J-Link EDU

I just had to see what I would get for $18.00

I personally will never spend another dollar on Geeetech crap. I originally built my 3D printer using one of their Printrboard clones. It worked OK for about a month then the components literally started falling off the PCB. Not worth the hassle just to save a few bucks.
