The Visual Studio Team wants to know how are you building IoT solutions

We want to know. How are you building IoT solutions. Give us 15 mins for a short survey. We want to hear from you. http://www.instant.ly/s/rLFfo/nav#p/186a0

Here is your chance to have an influence on the IoT efforts made by Visual Studio. I let them know that I’m a Gadgeteer/.NetMF developer and I want Visual Studio to keep Gadgeteer and .NetMF on the leading edge of Visual Studio.

Done, but ridiculous you have to select other and specify NETMF and C# in a lot of questions…

@ Justin - all the more reason to complete the survey.

Done.
And at the end there comes an Ad, where I can download something for iOS and Android :wall:

Posted my wild plants project too (http://plants.digitaldias.com). I agree it’s sad that they aren’t even listing C# or Micro Framework. Really sad.

Done.

And yes, it’s sad how Microsoft itself ignores NETMF. Until that changes, we cannot expect the market to take notice either.

Done too.

Makes you wonder if the people who setup the questions and answers where even aware of the existance and use of Netmf for IoT…

May be they sourced it out and this company said to them self’s: “IoT Survey: Hey We have one in our “surveys which might come” drawer.”

Remember if Microsoft were to feature their products in a survey then everyone freaks out and starts screaming at them, so I’m not really surprised that they aren’t listed and as well they have a reasonable idea how many people are using .NetMF and Gadgeteer and if you ask some of the folks in the IoT group at Microsoft they’ll tell you about this one particular guy who constantly reminds them about Gadgeteer and .NetMF users every chance he gets and then some so I know they haven’t forgotten about us.

Done.

Done - but I put Arduino down for everything

That’s the way to go. Good job!

@ Gary - put yourself on list
