I just posted LEDStrip sockets 3 and 4 on Task Tracker. Feel free to discuss and make suggestions here.
@ Duke Nukem - Wouldn’t work correctly in what way?
LEDStrip doesn’t light up correctly. For example the one image shows the LEDStrip plugged into socket 11 with just the green LEDs lit as they should be, but if I move the connection to socket 3 or 4 and recompile and run it then the green LEDs are lit, plus a yellow LED. In short the LEDStrip plugged into sockets 3 or 4 don’t light up correctly.
@ Duke Nukem - They are actually X sockets. See https://www.ghielectronics.com/docs/39/fez-hydra-developers-guide#1677
The next SDK will have Gadgeteer enforce that.
LEDStrip sockets 3 and 4 was updated.
Status went from Proposed to Closed.
Designer trumps Documentation. Select socket for LEDStrip and sockets 3 and 4 are indicated as workable sockets as per the attached image.
Actually the bug is in the Hydra data file the designer uses.
@ Duke Nukem - I know, the next SDK will have that fixed.
