Has anyone used one of these? Its not clear to me if this also sends data or if its just for charging.

Looks like it’s just for charging I think.
@ Sprigo - I think so too but it would be nice if it was useful for data. That would be a lot easier than unplugging from boards. I have switches on my hub but they’re not easy to get to.
