Speed : Gadeteer+Glide vs Gadegeteer+Graphics tools (standard GUI)

Hello,
I have Spider Kit and I need, before construct my robot, your opinions.

Is the system is faster when I use the Gadgeteer and the Glide tool ?
or
Is the system is faster when I use the Gadgeteer and the normal graphicals methods, like :


Window window;
Canvas canvas;
SimpleGraph altitudeGraph; // for example

I will start this new project and I would like use the best solution !

Glide is faster than WPF.
