Edit: I succeeded by using another PC.
Maybe some USB driver problem…
By now I have another probelm… so I’m starting a new topic.
(sorry if poor english, this is not my primary language)
Hi Guys
I have updated my Hydra’s TinyBooter and now I have to update TinyCLR, according to one (4.2.6.2) installed on my computer (Windows 7 64 pro).
When I attach the card to the computer, it is detected as FEZ Hydra.
But when I start FEZ Config and click on “Firmware updater”, it takes 2 or 3 minutes then says “The device is not ready for update!” and the “Next” button remains grayed.
Here is what I did to update TinyBooter:
1- I read https://www.ghielectronics.com/docs/125/loader-tinybooter-update-fez-hydra
2- I put a wire between pins 8 and 10 of slot 3, waited 5 seconds and removed the wire without resetting or unplugging the card.
Windows detected the Hydra as “BOSSA program port” on COM13.
3- I went to “C:\Program Files (x86)\GHI Electronics\GHI OSHW NETMF v4.2 SDK\FEZ Hydra\Firmware\FEZ Hydra TinyBooter Updater”, double-clicked on CommandPrompt.bat then typed UpdateFEZHydra.bat com13.
I waited 3 or 4 mn and everything went well in the log file.
I did the whole process three times and I didn’t succeed.
FEZ Config keeps on saying “The device is not ready for update!”.
I read the following topic but it didn’t help: https://www.ghielectronics.com/community/forum/topic?id=12993
What am I doing wrong please?
How to update my Hydra’s TinyCLR?
Thanks in advance for any help.
