Serial Camera L1 / L2 = JPG Support

Hi All,

As has been discussed in the forum here before, the standard camera while alright doesn’t support JPEG format by default, only Bitmap.

It looks like, from the description, the new Serial Camera L1/L2 do support JPEG? This would be connected to a FEZ Spider…

But, I think I read somewhere here these are not necessarily intended for the Spider? Any clarification would be great!

The new serial camera work on all mainboards just fine, including spider.

The intent is that you don’t need the extra memory and camera support over USB Host to get it to work, so it expands the reach of the device to the others in the platform (awesome !)
