Rs232 pins from ghi rs232 module

is it possible to rearrange the serail port pins by software in micro framework instead of soldering the serial pins ?

@ wetlip - No, it is not possible to rearrange the pin assignment via software. If you take a look at the top of the RS232 Module, you will notice a chip labeled IC1. This chip is responsible for the actual communications delivery. You will either have to solder the serial pins or, if applicable, you can create a serial cable that would cross the pins that need to be reassigned.

or just make your own module.

Can I ask why though? RS-232 is a well defined standard and there’s unlikely to be a need to swap pins.

change from DCE to DTE?

Then all you need is a null modem, cheap and available everywhere…or make your own cable. I am sure you know this only mentioning this to other readers. Null modem - Wikipedia
