RFID tag scan stopping motor running

Hi all, i’m trying to use a correct RFID scan to stop a motor running, can this be done.
basically the motor is running and i want it to stop when the RFID is scanned.

If the motor is being driven via the uC then it is simply check the returned ID from the RDIF if correct stop the motor.
