I am using the RFID module with the 2 sample tags.
I have noticed that if you move the tag around quickly it is easy to get a corrupt ID. (usually a missing character at the start/end) Is there any way to check if the ID returned is valid?
Also is the source code for the driver available?
The last byte of the string is the checksum. We will see how we can improve this.
Source doe is not on codeplex? http://gadgeteer.codeplex.com/
@ Gus - Just downloaded latest (19905) and it’s not in there that i can see.
Could not see the source , was looking for /GHIElectronics/RFID is it in a different location?
Files should be up there now, Including sources for the 2 new modules.
@ Steven - Cheers young man
I plan to do the checksum validation? Do you have the data sheet for the RFID reader?
I see you have updated the driver for the RFID do you plan to upload the latest code (http://gadgeteer.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/23408#273369) also do you have a data sheet on this module?
No datasheet but why need it?
I wanted to buy some tags but needed to know what the module can support first.
We tested them with different 125khz cards with no issues.
