DL40 - Pulse Counter Sample
Sample code for the DL40 which initializes one of the timers to act as a counter. The counter is triggered when a pulse is received on P1.5. For testing purposes I wired the Gadgeteer button module to the DL40 and configured the counter to trigger on the falling edge.

Good example. We need more DL40 snippets.
Nice. Is there a DL40 based logic analyzer coming???
@ ianlee74 - mmm, that sounds like a very good idea. I know I would find that useful, I currently put an extender module between the mainboard and target module so that I have connections that can be used to test the state of the pins. A make shift logic analyzer would do the trick nicely.
Hope you do not mind if I run with the idea.
I was hoping you would!
In case you’re not familiar with SUMP… You can capture your data and save it in the SUMP compatible format and all of your software is already written on the PC side!
