Power via 5V and USB simultaneously

just to be sure. I use ‘~’ to mark AC voltages

ah heh; is ~ used as a standard somewhere to mark AC voltages? or is it just your way of making a wave-like symbol ease of reading?

FWIW, I read ~8v as “around” 8 volts.

I think it’s just my way

To get back to your problem: did you power the 8.4VDC to the wall-adapter input? Or to the 5V pin on the pinheader? It’s not clear to me…

There is a diode on the USB circuit so that shouldn’t be the problem.

the FEZMini doesn’t have a wall-adapter pin to my knowledge

I put it across Ground and the pin labled 5V out USB-powered / 5V to 9V in

@ William - yea; thats how I use it  too lazy to ≈ alt+247 to get the approx equal most of the time heh

sorry to wade in here, but there doesnt seem to be an answer here. can you power the panda while plugged into the USB? If so how would i do that with batteries?
Also is there a way to remotely reset it then if you can’t actually physically access the panda and remove the external power?

Please leave question separate in new threads. Yes you can. Power from USB and power connector. Yes there is a method to rest using software
