I’m working on a project, and I’m looking to incorporate the FEZ Cobra II as main controller.
Since I’m busy designing a power board, I would like to know the dimensions / part name of the power connector on the Cobra II.
Does anyone know where I can find this information? I have looked on the schematic and dimensions sheet, but didn’t find anything useful.
It looks like a pretty standard DC-power connector…
I can confirm, by looking at it, that it’s a pretty standard power connector.

I would personally grab the full eagle files from an older device, say a Cobra, or a Panda, and take it’s footprint. The menagerie of Fezzez I have surrounding me all seem to have identical component mounted on it. If you grab the excel partlist file too, you might find the actual part number they use (or it’s equivalent)
I think GHI have said they’re close to releasing the source board files for the Cobra so it won’t be long before you’d be able to scope it out yourself direct on their drawings.
Thanks for the tip, I wasn’t aware there is a part list available for the FEZ Cobra.
If it’s the power connector of the Cobra II is the same one, PJ-102A 2.1mm should be the connector I’m looking for.
I’ll update this thread as soon as I have the Cobra II and the connector.
