I am thinking of using the ParallelCNC board for a project, and have the first of probably many questions. What is the maximum step rat this module can produce?

The module has a 50Mhz processor on-board with some basic firmware for basic functionality. We would like to get the community involved in help in building its firmware.
So far, we haven’t had time to go back and work on it and no volunteers yet. Perhaps you will be the one to “snowball” this project? 
I bought one of these when they came out. I haven’t (a) got any steppers, or (b) got any reason to do so. But a smallish home CNC is what I have had my eye on for some time, perhaps that time might be getting closer

I think I will buy a couple and start playing. I build cnc plasma cutters, and really want to make my own control instead of buying ones. I will have a play and let you all know what happens.

I have a Sherline CNC mill, and a parallel port based controller box, which seems like a great test bench for ParallelCNC. Will a CRBRS-BK-354 and PLCNC-GM-374 be enough to get me started experimenting with it?
