Using the new FEZ_Config_v011.exe on my Spider, I was able to update the firmware without changing the three switches (Had to do it with MFDeploy).

I assume that this is normal. Is it?

Update worked fine…

with new tool, you do not need switches, wires, or anything special.

However, you still need those special modes if you need to update tinybooter, which FEZ Config does not support.

if you need to update tinybooter… That I assumed.

I only asked because I did not find that information anywhere. But then again… I may have looked in the wrong place.
