4.2 is coming - it is not far away for the full GHI line up. There are numerous other threads on this, I think the official answer was Q1 2012

Should be very easy to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2.
Do you mean if I have 4.1 board, I can easily upgrade it later by downloading the new firmware from your website and upload into the board ? Or do I need to send the older board back to you ?
The reason is, I plan to order one of the high end board, but I prefer to have 4.2 …

Yes you can normaly update it at home as you update it now when new FW came…

Yes you can buy now and update firmware to 4.2 in future
GHI has developed updater programs which make it easy to update the firmware. These are included in the GHI SKD. Takes less than five minutes.
