It looks fun enough. Buy two heads. Send me one. I will give you an open-source driver in 30-60 days after I get the head or refund your money for both heads. (Timing constraints may require some or even most of the driver to be RLP code - no guarantees that this can be done all in managed code)

I contacted him and did exactly as he said (I purchased two print heads and mailed one to him). He got the print-head delivered to his house on September 20, 2016 and after that I was sending him some additional components like breakout board, connector, cable… Since that the only things I got is the promises and 23 days ago he just stopped replying to my messages.

I don’t know what is happened to @ mcalsyn, (accident, sick or family issues) but he has no excuse to not keeping promises he made. He was fiddling me with “I’ll send you some code on the weekend” from the beginning, and he never did. I spent about $1000 to buy 2 print heads and other supplemental parts because I trusted him. Some people may say that is not much but it’s substantial for me.

I’m recovering from the open heart surgery (unplanned valve replacement) as we speak, and I still keep promises I made to others or at least not keeping anyone that I made promises to in the dark.

@ EvoMotors - Best wishes to get well soon, but… don’t be impatient before you know the reasons. Perhaps an old fashioned letter or phone-call is better than an e-mail.

About being impatient… He made a promise on the public (Reply #14 of this forum)) and then just disappeared from the radar and stopped replying 23 days ago.

There could be a bunch of reasons, for no contact. I remember this one time, one of our corp members in Eve Online suddenly disappeared. Turns out he was in jail. He had got into a weird situation where he had to hit a guy. Guy died.

I know it hurts, but have a little faith.

Yes, yes, yes, I know. Someone always have good reasons… and someones reasons are always stronger and more important or more dangerous than mine. :wall: No worries, this Is not the first time I have to let it go and take a loss and not just financial.
