For mountaineer and other open source boards, the simplest way would be by using a wifi bridge. The other option would be to use XBEE wifi through xbee module. This give you a simple wifi<-> serial bridge.
If you want a real wifi connection, then you need to use a premium offer like FEZ Spider.

Got mine today!
What’s the black 40 in the photo?
Just for size comparison.
It is DL40
Gotcha … The Mountainer boards are tiny, they make the USB cables look huge in the photos.
I just don’t recognize that board, is it a home brew board?
** edit **
DL40 – thanks!!
Now that’s a cute monkey. Is that new?

Excuse me guys, for posting maybe at the wrong thread, but I couldn’t find one that looks suitable for my question.
I have got my Mountaineer board and some sensors for my first gadgeteer project. And I just realized that two of my modules can be connected only in socket 6 - moisture sensor by Seeed - http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/moisture-module-net-gadgeteer-compatible-p-973.html
and barometer module by GHI - https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/321
Is there any way I can change some of the other sockets into A or I type?
Or is it possible to make this with extender or daisylink module?
@ vgenev - it is better to start new threads with new questions.
You can’t make another A socket without pantry of knowledge but this is about to change. I can’t say how but come back in about couple weeks
