now that is COOL!
I think one of the next projects I want to work on is a way to interface with the motors from the LEGO Mindstorms kit…I’m pretty sure they have built-in encoders, so they would make for a very cool addition to my NETMF/Gadgeteer toolkit.

That would be cool. I would love to be able to use the motors and sensors from my mindstorms kit
That particular robot arm is very hackable, and has shown up on various sites for sale because of that. While it won’t pick up much weight, it makes for a great introductory robotics control project.
