Anyone have a MAX31855 module or breakout board they can run a test for me as I’m trying to confirm a possible spec sheet documentation error around junction temperature and when it goes negative. I’ve tried my experiment with a Adafruit MAX31855 breakout board and with the old GHI Thermocouple module and none of my results match with the documented sign bit being bit 15, whereas I’m thinking it could be bit 14. Let me know if you could run this test for me and I’ll send you my driver and test app.
