Managed Driver for the TI CC3100 Wifi chip available

Glad to see a CC3100 project!!

Despite TI’s CC3100/CC3200 SDK and example code with the MSP430 booster packs, I haven’t seen many projects using the CC3100. Is the logical interface (or documentation) not very straightforward?

Or have many jumped to the esp8266 or similar IoT platform (EMW3162, WRTnode2R, OpenPicus, onion omega, Domino IO, digistump, asiarf, vocore, USR-WIFI232-T/ Hi Flying HF-LPT100, etc, etc)

I know the netduino uses the .net micro enviorment , but how does .net micro compare to the mbed ide platform? I understand both can run on ST32F4/ST32F7 chips, while leveraging many ready tested building blocks… has anyone played with both, or are they geared for different applications?

Another cool CC3100 project!
